Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi who recently mesmerized the audience with his performance in Vikram is now venturing into the Malayalam film industry as the lead actor in the film 19(1)(a). The film will premiere directly on Hotstar.
He plays the role of a Tamil writer who lives in Kerala and guides Nithya Menen. The teaser looks quite interesting. The movie is said to be about freedom of speech and expression.
Indrajith Sukumaran and Indrans are playing other key roles. It is produced by Anto Joseph Film Company and is helmed by Indu VS. The streaming date is yet to be announced.
