Tamil star hero Vijay has recently been in the news for multiple reasons. On the personal front, his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam has filed for divorce. Adding fuel to the fire are ongoing rumours linking him with actress Trisha Krishnan. The gossip has only intensified with each passing day, with paparazzi repeatedly questioning Trisha both online and offline.
Responding to the same, actor turned politician Kushboo Sundar, who has worked with both actors, came out in strong support of Trisha. She described Trisha as “one of the most dignified women” and “the gentlest soul” she has ever met. Kushboo also emphasised that such matters are deeply personal and should be respected.
Speaking about paparazzi culture and their behaviour, Kushboo pointed out that such intrusive questioning was once largely limited to Mumbai but has now spread to Chennai as well.
Addressing the trolling of female celebrities over personal matters, she said that those who comment irresponsibly often do so for “sadistic pleasure” and should not be taken seriously. She added that 99.9% of such people are strangers, and there is no obligation to respond to them.
