Dil Raju’s comment that Vijay is a bigger star than Ajith has become a sensation. In an interview, Dil Raju said he would be requesting Red Giant company to provide extra theatres for his Varisu film in Tamilnadu. In his new interview, the producer gave clarity on his previous statement. Dil Raju said that a star hero’s stamina is judged by the theatrical revenue of his last five or six movies.
However, he stated that one becomes a star hero if his movies collect solid revenue, irrespective of the verdicts. The ace producer said that Vijay’s past five movies collected around 60 crores share in Tamilnadu, regardless of the fact that they were hits or flops.
Dil Raju said Ajith is also a big star in Tamil and explained that he was just talking about the previous films’ revenues, referring to his old statement. He clarified that his intention is never to degrade any hero by making a comparison and was just expecting more theatres for Varisu based on Vijay’s recent track record.
