Megastar Chiranjeevi has launched the much-awaited teaser for Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s intense period drama, Virata Parvam. “It looks raw and realistic. Great storytelling by Venu Udugula. My best wishes to Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi. Good luck to the entire team,” Chiru tweeted.
Virata Parvam teaser showcases an intense backdrop, where a village belle Sai Pallavi falls in love with a revolutionary named Aranya (Rana Daggubati) after reading his poetry. The conflict between the police and Naxals and how it impacts the lead couple’s love forms the main story.
This Venu Udugula directorial also features National Award-winning actresses Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Eswari Rao, Zarina Wahab and Nivetha Pethuraj in lead roles. Sudhakar Cherukuri is bankrolling this project and Suresh Babu is presenting it. The film is slated for release on April 30.
