Mega hero, Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha, is giving tough competition to the new releases even in its second week. The mystical thriller directed by Karthik Varma Dandu remained the first choice for Telugu audiences.
Till now, the film grossed 79.5 crores at the worldwide box office. The Telugu version is expected to continue its good run for a few more days. Meanwhile, the Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam versions are up for release this Friday.
If the movie clicks in other languages, it might be the first 100-crore grosser for Sai Dharam Tej. Samyukta Menon played the female lead, while Ajaneesh Lokanth composed the tunes. BVSN Prasad bankrolled Virupaksha under the SVCC banner.
