Vishal is one of the few Tamil heroes who has a good market in Tollywood. Most of his films are dubbed and released in Telugu. However, there has been lukewarm response for his last few films and he is planning to strike back with a big hit.
He is now gearing up for a Diwali release of his new film ‘Palnadu’. Suseenthiran who has earlier directed ‘Naa Peru Shiva’ and few other films is the director of this film. He is riding high on the success of his last film ‘Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer’ which is being dubbed in Telugu now. ‘Palnadu’ is produced by Vishal himself on his banner ‘Vishal Film Factory’. The shooting of the movie is going at a brisk pace.
Lakshmi Menon is cast opposite Vishal and D Imam is scoring the music. Sasank Vennlakanti is penning the dialogues and Sahithi is the lyricist for the Telugu version.
