It’s well known that Vishnu Induri, the Tollywood producer who is behind the biopics on NTR and Kapil Dev, is bankrolling a biopic on yesteryear heroine and former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be playing Jayaa’s role in this prestigious film, titled Thalaivi.
Vishnu Induri celebrates his birthday today. On this occasion, he interacted with the media and revealed key details about Jayalalithaa biopic. The shooting will commence from October 15 and the movie will be hitting screens in May, 2020. Thalaivi will throw light on Jayaa’s personal life and end with her taking oath as Tamil Nadu CM.
Noted Tamil director AL Vijay will be directing Thalaivi. The film will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi and it will also be dubbed in Telugu and Malayalam.
