Bhakta Kannappa, a VFX-filled world class mythological magnum opus, has been a dream project for actor-filmmaker Vishnu Manchu for several years now. While Vishnu will be essaying Bhakta Kannappa’s role, he has been on a lookout for a Hollywood director to helm this prestigious project.
In a latest interview, Vishnu revealed that Bhakta Kannappa’s budget has already touched Rs 95 crores. This certainly sounds like a highly risky project considering Vishnu’s market. However, Vishnu is hoping that his maiden Hollywood flick, Mosagallu, will bring him the much needed success so that he can take Bhakta Kannappa on floors at the earliest.
