Ace producer Allu Arvind made a rare public appearance at the promotional event of Deewana, which is set to hit theatres on June 19, 2026. Actor Vishwak Sen attended the event as the chief guest, and their humorous on-stage exchange quickly became the talking point of the evening.
Vishwak Sen playfully put Allu Arvind on the spot, saying, “Why aren’t you making a film with me, sir? Do you have any grudge against me? I’ll even give an audition as if it’s my first film. Please do a movie with me.”
The veteran producer responded with a smile, “You ask for a hefty remuneration,” triggering laughter from the audience.
Vishwak was quick with a witty comeback: “Sir, the seat is yours, the theatre is yours. You should be giving money to actors like me. Then the industry will be in good shape.”
The lighthearted banter left everyone in splits. Later, Allu Arvind revealed that discussions about a collaboration have been going on for years.
“For the last five or six years, we’ve been trying to work together. We listen to stories, hug each other, and then forget about them. But we’ll definitely make a film together soon,” he said. The revelation delighted fans who have been waiting to see the producer and actor join hands for a project.
On the work front, Vishwak Sen recently announced a romantic comedy with the makers of Devara. He also has Cult, which he is directing himself.
