On New Year’s Day, Vishwak Sen announced his new film, Legacy. The political drama is being helmed by Saikiran Reddy Daida, who made his directorial debut with the horror thriller Pindam. The makers released an announcement teaser to give a gist of the film.
Vishwak Sen’s character hails from a family with a strong political legacy. After his father’s death, the protagonist enters the web of politics, and due to the circumstances he finds himself in, he is hated by the very people who once loved him. Rao Ramesh plays Vishwak Sen’s father, a character who also exploits his family for political gain.
Towards the end, Vishwak Sen is seen urinating on a tomb, a visual meant to indicate that the film will be bold and unapologetic. Legacy also stars Kay Kay Menon, Sachin Khedekar, Ekta Rathod, and Murali Mohan in pivotal roles. Yeshwanth Daggumati and Saikiran Reddy Daida are producing the film. The shoot is currently in progress, with Govind Vasantha composing the music.
