Vishwanath And Sons quietly holding its own despite the competition

Suriya’s family entertainer, Vishwanath And Sons, started its box office journey pretty well. The Telugu version, in particular, did solid business, but with the arrival of Irumudi, Suriya’s film hit a speed bump, resulting in a reduction in screens.

Even with the limited screens, Vishwanath And Sons continued to perform well, but once again, it faced a big threat in the form of Toxic, which took away some of the former’s screens. However, with the Yash starrer getting a poor reception, the shows and screens for Vishwanath And Sons have been added back in considerable numbers this weekend, helping the film mint good numbers.

Holding its ground despite stiff competition goes on to show the kind of love the family entertainer has been receiving from the audience. Directed by Venky Atluri, the biggie stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. Naga Vamsi bankrolled it.
