After the blockbuster Karuppu, Suriya is gearing up to entertain audiences with Vishwanath & Sons. Directed by Lucky Baskhar fame Venky Atluri, the movie features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. The film is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 14, and a week ahead of its theatrical release, the makers have dropped the trailer.
The promotional asset looks breezy and pleasant, hinting that a heartwarming family entertainer is coming our way. Suriya plays Sanjay Vishwanath, a professional pistol shooter whose newborn son is born with a bone marrow disorder. When the family searches for a donor, they come across Mamitha Baiju. With her entry, the trailer turns energetic as her character is designed in a lively manner.
In the process, Mamitha gets closer to Suriya, and the huge age gap between them makes things complicated. The trailer also indicates that the film has solid emotional depth, promising a wholesome entertainer. Some of the dialogues are very well written. Suriya looks convincing playing his age, while Mamitha brings freshness to the proceedings.
It looks like Venky Atluri is set to hit the bullseye once again after Lucky Baskhar, as his presentation looks very promising. Vishwanath & Sons is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Studios. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music.
