Until yesterday, Kamal Haasan’s highly-anticipated espionage thriller, Vishwaroopam 2, looked doubtful for release on August 10. First, it was Pyramid Saimira’s petition against Vishwaroopam 2’s release alleging pending dues.
And then, there were reports that Vishwaroopam 2 will be postponed due to the tragic demise of former Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi a couple of days ago. However, Kamal’s team has clarified that the film will surely hit the screens on August 10 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
And now, the Madras High Court has rejected Pyramid Saimira’s plea to stay Vishwaroopam 2’s release until Kamal Haasan clears the long-pending due to the tune of Rs 7.75 crores. With all decks getting cleared, Vishwaroopam 2 is all set for a grand worldwide release tomorrow (August 10).
