Stalwart actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is fast wrapping up the post-production formalities for his much-delayed film on global terrorism, Vishwaroopam 2. The film is a sequel to the blockbuster espionage thriller, Vishwaroopam, that released in 2013.
Vishwaroopam 2 is supposed to hit the screens on April 13, as a Tamil New Year treat for fans. However, the ongoing film industry strike may disrupt the film’s release plans. On the other hand, the film’s censor formalities were completed with a UA certificate yesterday. The film’s much-awaited trailer will be released soon after the strike ends.
Vishwaroopam 2 also features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Shekar Kapur in prominent roles. Ghibran is the film’s music composer. Apart from playing the main lead, Kamal has also written, directed and produced this highly-anticipated action thriller.
