In recent times, Premalu is one film that has blown away the minds of one and all with its box office performance. The rom-com entertainer has till now collected over 120 crores gross including the Telugu and Tamil versions. The movie was made on a budget of less than 10 crores. Naslen K Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju played the lead roles.

There were many reports that the film would arrive in the OTT space on 29th March, but that didn’t happen. According to the latest buzz, the digital release was purposefully kept on hold since the Telugu and Tamil versions are still drawing crowds to the theatres. It is being speculated that the digital release will happen on 12th April.

An official announcement is awaited. Disney Plus Hotstar holds the digital rights to this blockbuster, which was directed by Girish A.D. Versatile actor Fahadh Faasil co-produced Premalu along with Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studio.

Shyam Mohan M, Meenakshi Raveendran, Akhila Bhargavan, Althaf Salim, Mathew Thomas, and Sangeet Pratap played pivotal roles in this delightful entertainer. Vishnu Vijay composed the tunes. Premalu created history by becoming the all-time highest-grossing Telugu dubbed Malayalam film with more than 15 crores gross.
