This morning, Adivi Sesh and the Dacoit team unveiled the film’s teaser, and it is getting a good response from the audience. The romantic action thriller features Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Shaniel Deo is making his directorial debut, and Anurag Kashyap is stepping into Telugu cinema with this flick.
Dacoit is coming out on March 19, 2026, the same day on which the Bollywood juggernaut Dhurandhar 2 is releasing. Also, Yash’s PAN Indian film Toxic is scheduled to hit the big screens on March 19. The Dacoit teaser launch was held in Hyderabad, during which Telugu media asked Adivi Sesh about the clash with the Hindi and Kannada biggies, and Sesh’s reply is now going viral on social media.
“I gave this statement in 2022 also. Back then, Major came alongside Kamal Haasan sir’s Vikram and Yash Raj Films’ Samrat Prithviraj. I faced the same question during that time, and my answer remains the same. There might be many big fish in the sea, but we are the gold fish,” remarked Adivi Sesh
Adivi Sesh is least bothered about the clash with the big-ticket entertainers, and his statement gives the impression that he is highly confident in Dacoit. The movie also stars Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in supporting roles.
