Mythri Movie Makers is riding high on the blockbuster success of Irumudi, but there is still no word on the release of its first horror thriller, 418. The film, directed by Kirtan Nadagouda and backed by Prashanth Neel, stars Preethi Pagadala as the heroine.
It was originally slated to hit screens on July 31, 2026. However, the makers called off the release at the end of July, saying a new date would be announced later. Nearly a month has passed, yet the new release date is still under wraps. That has left moviegoers wondering when 418 will finally make it to theatres.
In the meantime, Mythri Movie Makers is gearing up for the September 4 release of the Telugu-dubbed version of Malayalam super hit Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. Directed by Girish AD, the rom-com stars Mamitha Baiju and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles.
With the banner’s first horror outing still awaiting a release date, all eyes are on 418. For now, the film remains in limbo, with the makers yet to announce when it will hit the screens.
