“If you ever wanna make a movie over here, let’s talk.” “I thought your movie was outstanding” – this was what iconic Hollywood filmmakers James Cameron and Steven Spielberg told Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli about his RRR movie. These words were just a tip of the iceberg and several other reputed Hollywood stars heaped praises on Rajamouli and RRR.
And with Rajamouli holding talks with leading Hollywood studios and production houses during his Oscars campaign in Hollywood, speculations and anticipation on Rajamouli’s Hollywood debut are getting intense with each passing day. And in the latest Entertainment Tonight talkshow, the show’s host Ash Crossnan asked her guests NTR and Ram Charan how they’d react if Rajamouli gets a chance to direct a Marvel movie.
“Bring it on” Tarak said, while Ram Charan went “wow”. Tarak went on to say that it’s no longer Hollywood or Bollywood and that it’s just global cinema now. On the other hand, Charan promised his host Ash Crossnan that he would throw a huge party for her if Rajamouli indeed directs a Marvel movie someday. Well, all eyes are on the numero uno Indian filmmaker’s foray into Hollywood.
