Nagarjuna starrer Wild Dog has been in news for a major change in their release plan. Although its streaming rights were sold to Netflix and the stage was set for its digital release, the makers seem to have dropped the plan and instead, opted for a theatrical release.
Now, the whole unit is going to meet the press on March 1 to address the recent developments and also, make a formal announcement about the release date. Incidentally, it’s going to be the first biggie in Telugu which has opted to release in theatres after signing an OTT deal. And many believe that this shows the confidence the industry has that theatrical releases will continue to draw big crowds.
Directed by Abhishor Solomon, the film has been produced by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy. Dia Mirza and Saiyami Kher will also be seen in key roles.
