It is no exaggeration to say that 2023 is an outstanding year for Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan is on a roll with back-to-back blockbusters Pathaan and Jawaan. Dunki is having a decent run. Ranveer scored a hit with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani after a few failures. Another big thing to underscore here is Ranbir’s Animal. Creating sensation with its content and screenplay, the movie made heads turn all over.

Films like Gadar 2, The Kerala Story, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Oh My God 2, 12th Fail, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Satya Prem Ki Katha, Fukrey 3, Dream Girl 2, Sam Bahadur became huge money spinners at the box office. In contrast, most of the star heroes like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Ranbir Kapoor are not having any release in 2024.

While some of their films are in the production stage, some are still in the pre-production stage. Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter, Akshay Kumar’s Welcome 3, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and massive multi-starrer Singham 3 are the crazy films from Bollywood that will be released in 2024.

On the other hand, Tollywood is going to have a blast in 2024 as all the star heroes are having a release. Firstly, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is arriving this Sankranti season. NTR’s violent action drama Devara is planned for April. Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which has the capability to shatter all the existing records, is arriving in August 2024.

Of late, Dil Raju also declared that Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Game Changer is locked for September 2024 release. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s most awaited OG will also arrive in 2024. Last but not least, Rebel star Prabhas’s Sci-fi thriller Kalki 2898 A.D is also releasing this year. Most of these films are releasing worldwide in other languages too. So it seems Tollywood will lord over Bollywood in 2024. So let’s see what happens.
