Re-releasing the super hit movies of star actors has become a trend in Tollywood. Pokiri, Okkadu, Jalsa, Thammudu and now Chennakesava Reddy are clear examples of the above line.
The ticket bookings for Balayya’s Chennakesava Reddy, scheduled to re-release this weekend, are solid and so far the film has grossed over $12K from 31 locations in the USA. This is impressive and if the rage continues, the film will surpass the collections of Jalsa, re-released on September 2, 2022.
Chennakesava Reddy, directed by VV Vinayak, has Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jayaprakash Reddy and others in key roles. Manisharma’s music is one of the biggest assets of this film, released 20 years ago in theaters.
