‘Basha’ is an iconic film in more ways than one. The film generated stunning revenues not just in Tamil Nadu, but in Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India as well. Suresh Krishna directed that film and Superstar Rajinikanth essayed the lead role in the movie. The film’s storyline and screenplay style are used to this day in many commercial films.
Director Suresh Krishna is now quite keen about a sequel for this iconic film. Apparently, Suresh Krishna has been working over the script for quite some time now and he has reportedly discussed the possibility of this project with Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth has never been very keen about sequels and he has reportedly expressed some doubts about this venture as well. But Suresh Krishna is quite confident about this movie and he is hoping for a green light from the Superstar.
