Tamil hero Karthi has been struggling hard to score a solid hit for the past few years. His previous film, Dev, released in February and ended up as a colossal failure. He has pinned high hopes on his upcoming thriller, Khaithi.
Meanwhile, there has been a strong buzz since morning that Karthi is the first choice for Kannada director R Chundru for the official Tamil remake of the recent Kannada biggie, Upendra’s I Love You. Incidentally, I Love You, which released earlier this month, turned out to be a flop both in Kannada and Telugu.
Naturally, Karthi’s fans are apprehensive about the actor signing a flop film’s remake. Whether the actor will sign the project or decline it remains to be seen.
