Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal’s upcoming thriller, Satyabhama, is gearing up for its theatrical release on May 17. The actress has been promoting the film through media interviews for the past few days. In a latest interview with a popular news daily, Kajal made some strikingly important statements on striking a balance between motherhood and work.

“In today’s world, mothers balancing their careers is the new normal. It’s becoming commonplace. As women, we marry and have children, but that doesn’t necessitate leaving our jobs. It poses challenges, and our priorities may shift, but our commitment to our work remains,” said the actress. She, however, added that her 2-year-old son, Neil, who, she claims, is a total mumma’s boy and is her top priority.

“Motherhood is an incredible and indescribable experience. My son brings such fulfillment to my life. Every day, I eagerly await wrapping up work and returning to him,” she added. Kajal also said that she is excited about Satyabhama’s release as she has played a serious role after a long time. She also has Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s Indian 2 this year.
