Actress Yami Gautam’s latest release, Article 370, which is based on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, is having a very good run at the ticket windows. Directed by Aditya Suhas Jambale, the movie earned an impressive 25.45 crores nett in its opening weekend.
Even during the weekdays, the film is maintaining a strong hold. On its first Monday, the film collected about 3.6 crores nett, taking its four-day total to 29.05 crores nett. As per the early estimates on day 5, the film showed a solid hold without much drop from the first Monday, which is a great sign.
According to the trade experts, Article 370 will complete its first week with around 40 crores nett. The film is marching towards a clean hit status going by its current trend. Yami Gautam’s husband, Aditya Dhar, is one of the producers of this movie. Priyamani, Arun Govil, Rajendranath Zutshi, Divya Seth, and Iravathi Harshe played vital roles.
