To enhance the buzz around Toxic, Yash made a smart move by screening a nine-minute preview at the recent CinemaCon 2026 event that gave the viewers a detailed look at the film. The preview has not yet been released online, but those present at the event were said to have been floored by it, as per Variety India.
The early response is crucial, as Toxic marks the immediate release of Yash after the mammoth blockbuster KGF 2. With huge stakes involved in the project, the decision to showcase a lengthy preview at an international platform depicts the makers’ confidence in the product and also their intention to position Toxic as a global event film.
“There was a genuine buzz in the room. There was a lot of conversation around the film after the screening. It left the audience excited and intrigued,” the report mentioned. Fans are very excited to catch this sneak peek, and it remains to be seen if it will be released digitally.
If the digital release happens, and if the response is as good as the reception at CinemaCon, then it can do a world of good for the film with regard to opening day numbers.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi in important roles. The movie is slated for release on June 4 in multiple Indian languages and English.
