After months of delays and uncertainty, Toxic has finally locked August 26, 2026, as its worldwide release date. More importantly, the film has secured a coveted festive slot, arriving during the Onam holiday period and benefiting from an extended opening weekend at the box office.
The timing is expected to give the Yash-starrer a considerable advantage, allowing it to capitalise on holiday footfalls across key markets. For a project mounted on such a grand scale, the festive corridor could play a crucial role in maximising opening-week revenues and establishing strong early momentum.

Apart from Yash, Geetu Mohandas’ Toxic features Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in pivotal roles. The film is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, with music composed by Ravi Basrur.
