Yash’s much-awaited pan-India film Toxic has cleared censorship formalities and has been awarded an A certificate by the CBFC amidst good hype.

Meanwhile, interesting details about the film’s story have also come to light. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is set in post-Independence Goa during the Portuguese rule.

The film is said to revolve around a father-son revenge saga set against a violent backdrop in Goa. The recently released trailer received a strong response from fans and showcased Yash in a rugged avatar.

With its grand scale, action-packed narrative, and star-studded cast that includes Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Nayanthara, Toxic releases on August 26, 2026.
