Of late there have been more OTT releases in the Bollywood industry. Even stars like Akshay Kumar are preferring to take the OTT route due to the existing theatrical scenario in Hindi belts. Another noted film is all set to join the list soon.
Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif are working on a film titled Merry Christmas. The buzz is that the film will be releasing directly on an OTT platform in the beginning of 2023. The shooting is currently in the last leg and it will get wrapped up with Mumbai and Pune schedules by this September.
Sriram Raghavan of Andhadhun fame is directing this film. It is bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani and Sanjay Routray and is said to be a festive thriller. It would be interesting to see a talented actor like Vijay Sethupathi in the direction of Sriram Raghavan.
