Released last year, Care of Kancharapalem, a slice of life anthology drama, went on to receive immense critical acclaim and accolades from movie connoisseurs. The film was directed by debutant Venkatesh Maha and produced by Praveena Paruchuri.
So far, Care of Kancharapalem has received several international film festival honors. The latest in the list is the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. COK will have a special screening at this reputed festival, which will be held between August 9 to 17. COK is one of the front-runners to win the Best Regional Film (Telugu) award at the National Film Awards this years.
