Itllu Arjuna is gearing up for its theatrical release on October 30, 2026. Speaking at the teaser launch, director Mahesh Uppala praised S. Thaman for giving the film a soulful and emotional musical touch.
He said that while Thaman is known for his energetic mass numbers, his work in this romantic drama will offer something different. Mahesh even joked that audiences would soon call him “Itllu Thaman” after listening to the music.
The director also spoke about his experience working with Thaman and thanked him for his support. Despite being a debutant filmmaker, Mahesh said Thaman treated him with great respect and made him comfortable during their music sessions. He believes the music will be an important part of the film’s emotional journey.
Mahesh further revealed that Aniesh and Anaswara Rajan were the first choices for Arjun and Keerthi, and the characters were written with them in mind.
Produced by Venky Kudumula, the film follows the love story of a speech-impaired protagonist. Mahesh and co-writer Manasa Sharma penned the story, and the team is now preparing more promotional content ahead of the October 30 release.
