Young Malayalam heart-throb Dulquer Salmaan has had a unique brush with the Mumbai Police on Twitter. Recently, Dulquer’s latest Bollywood film The Zoya Factor’s co-star Sonam Kapoor tweeted a video in which she called Dulquer a ‘weirdo’. In the video, Dulquer was seen inside a moving car, but he was checking his mobile instead of controlling the steering.
Not amused, the proactive Mumbai Police’s Twitter handle took a jibe at Dulquer and Sonam, saying that only a ‘weirdo’ would have done such risks while driving, putting his and others’ lives in danger. In his response, Dulquer promptly clarified by mentioning what exactly happened in that video.
Requesting the Mumbai Police to verify facts, Dulquer said that the car was rigged and was placed on another truck to facilitate shooting. He also stated that the Mumbai Police personnel had helped the crew with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were also present throughout the shoot.
Would appreciate it if you had checked some facts before tweeting this. In fact @MumbaiPolice helped us with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were present the whole time. In my next tweet attaching the video I was shooting. #notawierdo https://t.co/WnKSnSDmjZ
