Yesterday, Andhra Pradesh Police detained Lakshmi’s NTR director Ram Gopal Varma and producer Rakesh Reddy at the Gannavaram Airport. The cops denied permission for RGV’s press meet in Vijayawada and even sent them back to Hyderabad.
Now, RGV has earned support from unexpected quarters. YSRCP president YS Jagan took to Twitter this morning and condemned his arch rival and AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan alleged that democracy is in a sad state in Andhra Pradesh and that the government is exploiting the police department like servants. “Chandrababu garu, what mistake did RGV commit?,” Jagan tweeted.
