The opening weekend collection of Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 is sure to blow your minds. During its extended four-day weekend, the film grossed over Rs. 140 crore worldwide, which is nothing short of sensational. Though the movie enjoyed franchise advantage, it largely received mixed responses, yet it is doing wonders at the box office.

Drishyam 3 has already surpassed the lifetime collections of some of Mollywood’s biggest grossers like Pulimurugan, Premalu, and Lucifer in just four days. The film now holds the record for the second-biggest opening weekend grosser in Mollywood, trailing only behind L2: Empuraan.

Had the film matched expectations unanimously, it might have achieved the unthinkable. Nevertheless, the level at which Drishyam 3 is performing now has left even trade pundits surprised. It remains to be seen how much more the film can collect from hereon.
