Following the underperformance of Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda aims to make a comeback with Ranabaali. The period action drama, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Today, the makers unveiled the teaser, and it looks stunning.

Set against the 19th-century backdrop, the film is based on historical events that took place during British rule between 1854 and 1878. The movie depicts the food crisis that emerged during this period due to the atrocities committed by the British generals. They loot food grains from Indians in the Madras Presidency and kill innocent civilians mercilessly. A force awakens in the form of Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, played by Vijay, to stop them.

He takes on the might of the British rulers and becomes a thorn in their side with his rebellious attitude and unflinching spirit. The action sequences look very intense, with massive bloodshed. Vijay Deverakonda’s transformation looks stunning, and his body language is on point as a warrior. He looks like a force to be reckoned with in the video asset.

Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, with T-Series presenting it. The production values and Ajay-Atul’s background score are impactful too. Ranabaali hits the big screens on October 16.
