With the critically acclaimed film Chithha, headlined by Siddharth, director S.U. Arun Kumar grabbed the spotlight. The filmmaker neatly depicted a sensitive issue, and the movie helped Siddharth make a good comeback after a series of failures. S.U. Arun Kumar has now collaborated with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan.

On the eve of Kamal Haasan’s birthday, the makers dropped an interesting update. The movie is titled Sandiyar, and the first-look poster features Kamal Haasan in a striking avatar as he stands near a car, holding a gun in his hand.

Kamal Haasan’s home banner, Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), is bankrolling the project. Kamal faced massive setbacks with Indian 2 and Thug Life, and it remains to be seen if he can bounce back with Sandiyar. Anirudh is composing the tunes.
