‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna’s ‘Bhai’ is getting ready for a release soon. The audio album has been released yesterday. DSP has composed the music for this mass entertainer and Veerabhadram is the director. ‘Bhai’ is coming in with a good buzz and the film has Nagarjuna and Richa in lead roles. Let us check out the audio album of ‘Bhai’ and see how it is.
‘BHAI’ is a peppy and very addictive title track. Devi Sri Prasad has come up with solid music for this title track and Suchith Suresan has done a very good job with the lyrics. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are ok. Percussion instruments and wind instruments have been used to good effect. This song will make an instant impression and the peppy nature of the track will make it quite popular.
2 . Nemmadiga
Artist(s): Venu Srirangam, Swetha Mohan
Lyricist: Anantha Sriram
‘Nemmadiga’ is a nice and romantic duet. Venu Srirangam and Swetha Mohan have taken care of the vocals and they have infused good energy into the song. Anantha Sriram’s lyrics are decent. DSP’s music is quite simple, yet effective. Once again, percussion instruments dominate the music. For a romantic duet, this song has good pace. Thumbs up for this romantic number.
‘O Pilla Pilla’ is yet another peppy duet from this album. David Simon’s voice is a big asset for this song. He has done a very good job with the vocals and Rita has complemented him well. Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are very average. The song is rescued by DSP’s peppy music. The pace of the song and the addictive beats ensure that the song is easy to listen to. Overall, this song ends up as a decent number.
4 . Aibaaboi Neechoopu
Artist(s): Tippu Geetha Madhuri
Lyricist: Bhaskara Bhatla
‘Aibaaboi Neechoopu’ is a very normal duet that is aimed at the front benchers. The song has been rendered by Tippu and Geetha Madhuri and have done an ok job. There is nothing much to say about Bhaskara Bhatla’s lyrics for this number. It is a mass song and the verses act as fillers. DSP’s music is also strictly Ok.
‘Most Wanted’ is the item song of the movie. Mamata Mohandas has taken care of the female vocals and it feels nice to listen to her voice again. She has done a good job. Ramajogayya Sastry has penned the lyrics, which are just about ok. DSP’s music is sufficiently rustic and the music is apt for the setting of the song. Once again, the good pace of the song and the beat heavy sound take care of things.
Devi Sri Prasad has come up with a very peppy album for ‘Bhai’. The songs have good pace and most of them make a good first impression. The title song ‘BHAI’ has the potential to be a chartbuster. ‘Bhai’, ‘Nemmadiga’ and ‘O Pilla’ are my picks from this audio album. Nagarjuna and DSP have had a successful association until now. The trend looks set to continue with this album too.
