Bollywood's superstar Salman Khan's Sultan released on July 6 on the eve of Eid. The film released all-over the world to a thumping response and rave reviews. Surprisingly, Sultan ruled the box-offices in Telugu states as there were no notable Telugu releases.
No 1st position at the box office. .
The first and foremost reason behind Sultan's historic success is none other than Salman Khan. Sallu Bhai's gritty and intense performance in heroic as well as emotional scenes come across as a huge revelation. Anushka Sharma too shines in a powerful role.
The film majorly treads a seemingly known path and the predictable screenplay in the second half dilutes the overall experience to an extent. At 2 hour and 50 minutes long, Sultan does make for a heavy duty watch in the end.
