Ace director S.S. Rajamouli’s graphical extravaganza ‘Eega’ is all set to fly to the shores of Thailand very soon. The movie is going to be dubbed in Thai early next year and it will be released there by a few popular exhibitors. The theme of re-incarnation, spirits and the graphics are expected to appeal to Thai movie lovers.
Thailand is a popular destination for shooting Telugu films. But if things go as planned, it will soon become a pretty important business market for our movies. Buzz is that a couple of major Hindi production houses have already entered into partnerships with exhibitors in Thailand. Our Telugu producers are expected to follow suit.
Let us hope ‘Eega’ scores well in its Thai innings.
