Released in 1995, Super Star Rajinikanth-starrer blockbuster gangster drama, Baasha, redefined Tamil Cinema, to a great extent even Telugu Cinema, as before Baasha and after Baasha. The film’s sensational flashback episode is still a great screenplay tool for several established writers and directors.
Now, this Suresh Krissna directorial is all set for a re-release with a digitally remastered version with 5.1 Surround Sound. Sathya Movies banner, which acquired the movie’s rights, has unveiled the film’s riveting teaser on the occasion of completing a golden jubilee in Kollywood.
Needless to say that the teaser has got Thalaivar’s fans highly excited. The film’s release date will be announced soon.
