Madhavan, who’s playing a key role in Naga Chaitanya’s Savyasaachi, is quite excited about how his role has been etched in the action drama. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, it also marks Madhavan’s debut in a straight Telugu cinema after all these years.
Talking about why he took up the role, Madhavan said, “It’s a screenworthy film. There’s grandness to it, and also, there’s an intelligence to the script that’s a pre-requisite to films. It’s also a fun masala film that renders itself to community-watching. It’s a big screen experience that’s worth the effort.”
The actor also added that it’s almost like a guest role, but he had a great time working with a young team. The film also stars Nidhie Agarwal in a lead role. Savyasachi is slated for release later this year.
