Hero Allari Naresh has been going through a lull for the last few years. None of his last few movies managed to set the cash registers ringing. The actor’s latest comic caper, Silly Fellows, is hitting theaters worldwide in a few hours.
In a latest promotional interview, Allari Naresh said that although he has been branded as a ‘Comedy Hero’, his upcoming film, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi, will bring him a new image. This statement gives an impression that Allari Naresh is trying to move out of his comfort zone and is eager to play performance oriented roles beyond comedy.
Naresh also revealed that his character in Maharshi will be on the lines of his Gaali Seenu character in Gamyam. We will have to wait and see if Silly Fellows and Maharshi will manage to give the much needed boost to the actor’s career.
