While promoting Peddi in Hindi, Ram Charan was asked about his constant injuries and whether they scare him, given his massive following. Ram Charan said that it gives him pleasure to do stunts on his own.
“The risk factor was always there. But that risk has now come down because of technology. But I don’t know anything beyond this. There is a pleasure in doing this. I know my audiences are going to love it when I do stunts by myself. People can easily spot body doubles these days. I like to be as authentic as possible. My father, at 71, performs stunts by himself. I tell him not to do it. Likewise, my directors tell me not to take such risks,” said Ram Charan.
He added, “But there is a charm in doing it yourself. People connect with you, and we thrive. We work hard to earn that connection with the audience. We start early in the day only to win the audience’s trust.”
