Garividi Lakshmi is a biographical drama based on the life of Uttarandhra folk singer Garividi Lakshmi. Anandhi played the titular role, while Gowri Naidu Jammu directed the film. The movie is making a strong impact in the Uttarandhra region with impressive collections.
Audiences in the region have lapped up the film, and exhibitors have been increasing the show count to meet the demand. Yesterday, the biopic registered bigger numbers than Jailer 2 and Ranabaali, which is sensational, to say the least.
The film’s solid and consistent performance in this territory has even surprised trade pundits. The dream run is expected to continue till Diwali. TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad bankrolled Garividi Lakshmi under People Media Factory, while Charan Arjun composed the music.
