Mani Ratnam is currently working on Inji Vellam, a romantic drama starring Sai Pallavi and Vijay Sethupathi. The movie is likely to hit theatres in January 2027. Now, there is fresh buzz that the star director is reportedly bringing two powerhouses together.

As per the ongoing trade talk, Mani Ratnam wants to make his next film with Suriya and Dhanush. Reports say that he has approached them, and both have shown interest. It remains to be seen if the multistarrer project is happening for real.

On the other hand, Suriya and Dhanush have their individual movies releasing this November. While Suriya’s Scene is coming on November 6, 2026, Dhanush’s OM: Chapter 1 is set to release on November 20, 2026.
