Venkatesh and Trivikram’s Aadarsha Kutumbam arrived in theatres last week. The movie opened to a mixed response from critics and audiences, who felt Trivikram’s writing wasn’t up to the mark.
The movie had a decent first weekend at the box office, but compared to its target, it should have done much better. As Aadarsha Kutumbam has now entered the weekdays, it is bound to drop. However, what matters the most now is how well it can fare during the Diwali season. If the movie can post strong growth during the festive weekend, it can make a healthy recovery.
Aadarsha Kutumbam will also face strong competition from Ramayana. S. Radhakrishna (China Babu) of Haarika & Hassine Creations has bankrolled Aadarsha Kutumbam. Srinidhi Shetty played the female lead. Yuvina Parthavi, Nivetha Pethuraj, Nara Rohit, Pujita Ponnada, Rao Ramesh, Raja Prajwal, Devyani Sharma, and Brahmaji appeared in key roles. Thaman is the music composer.
