Hero Vijay Deverakonda today attended a special screening of his good friends Nag Ashwin and Naveen Polishetty’s recently released comic caper, Jathi Ratnalu. After watching the movie, Vijay interacted with Jathi Ratnalu’s core cast and crew.

Vijay said that Jathi Ratnalu is like a laughter therapy and urged audiences to not miss this laugh riot in cinemas. A visibly proud and happy Vijay revealed that Jathi Ratnalu’s editor Abhinav and cinematographer Manohar were assistants during the making of Yevade Subrahmanyam several years ago.

Vijay also had some nice things to say about the film’s lead actors Naveen, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna and Faria Abdullah and director Anudeep KV for succeeding in making the audiences laugh out loud in cinemas especially after the pandemic.

It is already reported that senior hero, Venkatesh has begun shooting for Drishyam 2 a couple of days back. The film is a remake of the recently released Malayalam suspense drama with the same title.

Meanwhile, the latest update is that actress Meena has joined the film sets from today onwards. Jeethu Joseph, who helmed the original version is directing the Telugu remake also.

Senior producer Suresh Babu is bankrolling the movie which also has Esther Anil and Kruthika in crucial roles.

Action hero Gopichand and Tamannaah’s upcoming sports drama, Seetimaarr has wrapped up its entire shooting formalities a couple of weeks back. Currently, post-production work for the film is going on at a brisk pace and the film is gearing up for an April 2, 2021 release.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Rebel star Prabhas, who shares a good rapport with Gopichand is expected to grace the pre-release event of the film which is scheduled on March 28th. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is yet to be out.

Samapth Nandi is the director of Seetimaarr and Srinivasa Chitturi is bankrolling this sports drama. Manisharma is the music composer.
