Star hero Mahesh Babu is the latest celebrity to appreciate the recently released blockbuster romantic drama, Uppena. Mahesh watched Uppena earlier today and took to Twitter to shower his appreciation.

Mahesh said that Uppena, in one word, is a classic and that Buchi Babu Sana has made one of those rare timeless films. “Proud of you,” Mahesh lauded the debut director. He then drenched the film’s music composer Devi Sri Prasad with non-stop praise.

“The heart of Uppena is DSP. It’ll be remembered as one of the all time great music scores! This is your best work till date DSP. Keep rocking,” Mahesh tweeted. Coming to the lead actors Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, Mahesh said that it’s really heartwarming to see two newcomers come up with stellar performances. “You guys are stars,” the Superstar said.

Finally, Mahesh appreciated the film’s producers Sukumar and Mythri Movie Makers for backing a project like Uppena.

It is a known fact that Nithin is doing a film called Check that will be out this week. The film is directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti and will be out this week on the 26th.

The film is a crime drama and Nithin plays an inmate who is sentenced to death. The pre-release event of the film was held in a grand manner and since then, the buzz for the film has picked up.

The latest we have come to know is that the twists in the second half will be quite interesting. Also, the Chess setup and the action part in the jail are going to be other highlights. Priya Prakash Varrier is getting introduced in Telugu with this film.

It is also reported that actress Taapsee Pannu has four interesting projects such as Haseen Dilruba, Rashmi Rocket, Looop Lapeta, and Shabaash Mithu in the pipeline. While Haseen Dilruba, Rashmi Rocket, and Looop Lapeta are at various stages of filming, Taapsee is gearing up to kick-start the shooting for Shabaash Mithu soon.

Meanwhile, the latest news is that for Shabaash Mithu, Taapsee has started the training sessions under the supervision of Indian Women cricket team captain Mithali Raj’s friend Nooshin Al Khadeer. Reportedly, Nooshin is a former Indian Women cricket team member, who has been closely watching Mithali Raj play for the past few years.

Shabaash Mithu is going to be helmed by Rahul Dholakia and Viacom 18 Studios banner is bankrolling it.
