Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s sports action drama Peddi is likely to hit the big screens on June 25, 2026 going by the latest industry buzz. The movie initially slated for March 26 release was postponed to April 30 due to pending works.

Once again the release has been pushed to June, and the unexpected and significant delay disappointed fans. However, makers assure that the wait will be fully worth it. The special song is yet to be shot, and except for it the shoot is done.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in this Buchi Babu Sana’s directorial. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas, the movie stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in key roles. AR Rahman is the music composer.

Dhanush will be next seen in the period crime thriller Kara. Directed by Vignesh Raja, the movie is set for a multi-lingual release on April 30, 2026. Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead. Telugu promotions commenced with the teaser release today.

The promotional asset doesn’t reveal the story, but it manages to create intrigue with its visuals, Dhanush’s presence, color tone, and striking background score. The dubbing seems off, and it remains to be seen whether the issue will be handled before April 30.
