Dhanush will be next seen in the period crime thriller Kara. Directed by Vignesh Raja, the movie is set for a multi-lingual release on April 30, 2026. Mamitha Baiju plays the female lead. Telugu promotions commenced with the teaser release today.

The promotional asset doesn’t reveal the story, but it manages to create intrigue with its visuals, Dhanush’s presence, color tone, and striking background score. The dubbing seems off, and it remains to be seen whether the issue will be handled before April 30.

The Telugu release will be handled by Vigneswara Entertainments. The movie is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International in association with Think Studios. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer.
