Young actor Santosh Soban will be next seen in the family drama Anni Manchi Sakunamule. Helmed by Nandhini Reddy, Malvika Nair plays the leading lady. The family entertainer has an ensemble cast of Sowcar Janaki, Rajendra Prasad, Gauthami, Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Vennela Kishore, and Vasukiother in key roles. Priyanka Dutt bankrolled Anni Manchi Sakunamule. Ahead of the film’s release on 18th May 2023, we had a brief interaction with Malvika, and here is the transcript.
How will your character be in Anni Manchi Sakunamule?
The character I played in Anni Manchi Sakunamule is completely different from the roles I did previously. My character will be more organized in this movie. My role in the film doesn’t hesitate to show anger and bravery. My character in Anni Manchi Sakunamule tries to have control over everything.
Is your character in this film similar to anyone in real life?
In Evade Subramanyam, my role would be similar to Priyanka Garu. She is a happy and free-flowing person. But Swapna Garu is an organized leader. So my role in this film would be identical to Swapna Garu.
Tell us about your working experience for Anni Manchi Sakunamule.
We did most of the shooting at Kunoor hill station and spent around 30 days there. It was lovely working with Rajendra Prasad Garu, Gowthami Garu, Naresh Garu, and Vasuki and spending time with them. Not just about films, we also used to discuss various things.
What kind of inputs did Nandini Garu give you for your character?
Nandini Reddy Garu gave me a lot of inputs. She would share her vision with me, and it is the responsibility of the actors to understand that and to act in a way that audiences like. My character in the film would have a humor touch too.
What is the reason you chose to be part of this film?
I wanted to work with Nandini Reddy Garu again. Also, I am lucky that Vyjayanthi Films, Swapna Garu, and Priyanka Garu have come together. Their creative inputs would be wonderful. Like the way parents support their children, these people would support actors.
What are your goals as an actor, and tell us about your future projects too?
I want to do an action film. I always love to do an action movie. Regarding my future projects, I am doing an exciting character in Devil.
